House Rules
Together with you, we will experience a great party!
Therefore, the following rules apply within the event area:
- This event is for all residents and visitors of the city of Harlingen. Generally accepted norms and values must be respected.
- The organization is entitled, without giving reasons, to refuse visitors access to the event area or to have them removed if a visitor does not comply with these house rules, or if the organization deems this necessary for other reasons to maintain peace and order during this event.
- As a visitor, you must be able to comply with the Dutch legal obligation to show a valid ID. Carrying identification is mandatory.
- It is prohibited to enter the event area in a state of intoxication.
- The organization reserves the right to make adjustments to the program in case of force majeure.
- During this event, it is prohibited for visitors under the age of 18 to purchase and/or consume alcohol. Furthermore, visitors over the age of 18 are not allowed to provide and/or sell alcohol to visitors under the age of 18. If this is observed, it will lead to removal from the event area in accordance with these house rules and/or a fine by the competent authorities, such as law enforcement or the police.
- All event visitors agree to preventative searches, including – but not limited to – at the entrance. The security organization designated by the organizers has the right to check anyone wishing to access or present within the event area, and to confiscate unauthorized items. Confiscated items will be stored at the owner’s risk until after their visit to the event area, unless the event organizer applies a different policy or legally prohibited items are involved. Inspections are carried out by means of bag searches and private-law superficial security frisks (POV). Bag searches/POV are conducted at the entrance and exit security checks and within the event area when there is cause to do so. Bag searches and POV are defined as follows: bag search = inspection of bags, suitcases, boxes, and anything carried by a person. POV = superficial pat-down of clothing, pockets, and possibly shoes. If these checks are refused, the visitor will be denied entry (or further access).
It is prohibited to bring the following items:
Alcoholic beverages in any type of packaging, glassware, cans, plastic bottles;
Fireworks and flammable goods such as aerosol cans;
Weapons and other sharp objects that can serve as a weapon.
- If prohibited and illegal items are found, the organization will hand over the persons in possession of them to the police.
- Visitors to the event area are prohibited from possessing, trading, or using narcotics (all types of drugs under the Opium Act, including nitrous oxide/laughing gas). If prohibited substances are found, the organization will hand over the persons in possession of them to the police.
- Entering the event area is entirely at the visitor’s own risk.
- If pollution and/or destruction of materials and grounds are observed, you will be denied access to the event area and handed over to the police. Any damage will be recovered from you.
- The organization is not liable for material and/or immaterial damage of a visitor in any form whatsoever.
- Visitors who misuse emergency doors and/or emergency facilities will be removed from the event area.
- All visitors are required to immediately follow instructions from the organization and/or security personnel. Failure to do so will lead to removal from the event area.
- Threatening with or using violence, making discriminatory remarks in word and/or gesture, sexual harassment, public urination, throwing beer, and throwing mud will not be tolerated.
- In situations not covered by these house rules, the organization or the municipality of Harlingen will decide.
In situaties waarin deze huisregels niet voorzien, beslist de organisatie dan wel de gemeente Harlingen.
